This iconic adventure attraction was developed by OMRAN Group as part of an integrated adventure centre designed to deliver premium adventure tourism experiences in northern Oman.

The zipline is the flagship activity of the Oman Adventure Centre in Khasab and features modern facilities, a dedicated waiting area, and international safety standards. Operations are managed by LEOS, a globally experienced adventure and entertainment operator.

World’s Longest Zipline Over Water

Certified by Guinness World Records, the Khasab zipline is officially recognized as the world’s longest zipwire over water. Riders launch from Jebel Fitt and soar 1,800 metres over the Musandam coastline, reaching exhilarating speeds of up to 80 km/h.

The descent offers stunning aerial views of Khor Qadi and the Mokhi region, before concluding at the beachfront Atana Khasab Hotel. The ride itself lasts approximately 70 seconds, delivering a powerful adrenaline rush combined with breathtaking scenery.

Zipline Program Schedule (Approx. 1 Hr 45 Mins)

• 00:00 hrs – Meet & welcome outside the cruise terminal
• 00:05 hrs – Board mini bus
• 00:15 hrs – Transfer to Oman Adventure Centre
• 00:20 hrs – Arrival at the centre
• 00:25 hrs – Waiver form completion & safety briefing
• 00:45 hrs – Transfer to Jebel Fitt (starting platform)
• 01:10 hrs – Arrival, harness fitting & equipment briefing
• 01:30 hrs – Zipline ride (1,800 m / up to 80 km/h)
• 01:45 hrs – Transfer back to the ship

Maximum capacity: 12 guests per run (departures every 15 minutes)

Participation Restrictions

• The zipline experience is not permitted for:

  • Guests with neck or back problems
  • Heart conditions or pacemakers
  • High blood pressure
  • Recent surgeries
  • Pregnant women
  • Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Individuals with medical conditions aggravated by adventure activities
  • Guests displaying aggressive or unsafe behaviour
  Prosthetics are not allowed on the ride

Dress Code & Safety Guidelines

• Closed shoes / sneakers are mandatory
• Long hair must be tied back (hair nets provided if required)
• All loose items must be secured and stored at the Adventure Centre

  • A waiver form must be completed and signed at the Adventure Centre prior to participation.
  • Participation is subject to final approval by the zipline operator based on safety assessment.
